Our next guest in our TGMS Future Stars series was born and raised in São Paulo (Brazil) and travels between this concrete jungle and Berlin at the moment.
Allma Skneian is an audio designer and DJ/Producer since 2006 and has been living in Berlin for 5 years now. He studied Sound Design at SRH Hochschule der populären Künste and at Souza Lima & Berklee Music Conservatory.
His first album debut was in 2013 with Römer-Records. In 2016 he releases on Berlin Exodus Collection, Vol. 1 Various Artists. This year, 2018, Allma Skneian announces his Dinosaurs EP on his own label Built-in Control Records.

5 questions for Allma Skneian
Where are you from and what do you find inspirational about where you’re living?
I’m from Sao Paulo (Brazil) and I’m living between Berlin and Sao Paulo at the moment. I listen to many vinyl records and sound design creations as an inspiration. My dark music is inspired by watching horror movies.
Why do you want to be a DJ/producer?
Becoming a producer was a natural process for me during my career when I started Djing in Clubs and Private parties in Brazil since 2006, I always wanted to understand not only the genres but the elements into a track, later on, I began expressing myself into my creations,
Where does your passion for electronic music come from?
I grew up listening to electronic music like tapes and CDs. Also, I am buying my records since the 90s and going to clubs every weekend. For quite some time soundtracks started blowing my mind with composing music and that possibility to mix with electronic music.
Describe some of the feelings you have when you are behind the decks.
It’s a powerful emotion impossible to describe and the energy from the public chills me a lot.
What excites you the most as a DJ/producer?
The most exciting thing as a DJ is when you play your own track and you get positive feedback from the public as well as people dancing. Also as a sound designer and producer when you spend many hours or days making a track and you see the result on the dance floor.
