Now he is here on Tanzgemeinschaft with a stunningly deep and melodic mix with oriental influences. Get your groove on and play it loud.

You live in Egypt. Tell us about what makes your area special and how nightlife looks like.
The Electronic music scene has been growing in Egypt since the early 90’s. Trance was the main genre that everyone liked at that time and we had events for big names such as Tiësto, Judge Jules and Armin Van Buuren. Now, other genres are more famous such as Deep, Melodic and Tech house. Also, deep and melodic techno have many fans here.
The scene mostly depends on individual promoters who organise many events during the year, but also we have international clubs such as Space and Pasha. It Is still small compared to Europe but every once and a while we have a superstar here such as Tale Of Us, AMÊ and Dixon
What have been the main influences that got you started with electronic music?
I was a promoter from 1995 to 2005 with a track record of more than 50 events for international and national DJs and singers. After coming back from DGTL Amsterdam in 2015 I decided to start mixing. I am currently a senior Regional sales manager at PepsiCo by day and a DJ by night
How has your music been influenced by other artists, musicians, or life in general?
I literarily listen to all Genres of music. I do not prefer one to another but I always like to dance to melodies, whether it is melodic house or melodic techno. I have been influenced by many DJs but to name a few, Olivier Giacomotto, Dizharmonia, Lunar Plane, Rafael Cerato, The White Shadow FR, Ran Salman and MoonWalk.
What skills/personal attributes are most important to be successful?
To be successful you have to like what you do, keep practising, believe in yourself and never give up.
What can we expect from the mix?
You should expect to start dancing from the very first track on some melodic and deep house tunes.
What is your absolute favourite track of the moment?
Dark Claw by Lunar Plane and Rafael Cerato. It is the last track in the mix.
