TGMS Future Stars #38: Marcelo Frota. Hot Brazilian wax!

Marcelo Frota started his journey in electronic music back in 2013 as a DJ and music producer. In 2015 he created his Label (B-SIDE). With this, he tried to bring national and international guest to his city of Rio de Janeiro. He can be heard on radio shows like Feeder.ro, Tunnel Fm, Deep House Sweden, House Salad, Sound Advisor Tv, House Jet Radio, EgoSoundtrack. His latest releases appeared on labels like there are Conceptual Records, Restore music, Tenor Recordings, Re:Vibe Music. All in all a busy bee we’d like to give a spot in our TGMS Future Stars series.

Where are you from?
I was born in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

What do you find inspirational about where you are living?
Rio de Janeiro is worldwide known as a wonderful city. So touching and beautiful people, simply charming.

What is the most annoying thing about the music industry?
What irritates me the most are people who blame the job market and the lack of opportunities rather than fighting with the full force.

Where do you hope to see MArcelo Frota to be in 5 years from now?
I hope to release many vinyl records at record companies that I like, produce big events here in Rio de Janeiro and play in several countries all over the world.

What can we expect from your mix?
It’s a reflexion of what is happening inside of my head and things happening in my life. So you can expect many surprises and a creative and dynamic drive.
