Stereo Express – Alive (KAL 032)

Already released tracks on Burlesque Musique and his very own Love Matters imprint. Now Belgian DJ & producers Christophe D’hoker a.k.a Stereo Express drops his first tune on Kallias. Readers might know Stereo Express from former hits like ‘La Vie En Rose‘ or his cover of Eurythmics’ ‘Sweet Dreams’:

His new single called ‘Alive’ will enlighten dance floors for sure. Besides the original the package contains a radio edit, an instrumental version and a blasting dub remix from another member of the Kallias family, Nana K..

The original, ‘Alive’, swells into life quite sparkly. Very uplifting with a crafty bassline and soft & sweet vocal harmonies from Fynn. Releasing this track in winter time (Europe) might be the wrong season as it sounds very fresh with the flamenco guitar at the end. But spring being just around the corner we’ll keep this one playing for a little longer.

For us Nana K.’s dub remix is a blast. A more punchy and bass loaded version of the original.
