The Sound Waves Festival celebrates 20 years of history, on July 5th, in Esmoriz, and launches the first phase of artists in its line up.
Ravers from all over the world are preparing to live a memorable experience this summer of 2025 at Sound Waves, one of the biggest techno and hard techno festivals in Europe. The event, which began in 2005, will mark a new chapter on July 5th, bringing thousands of festival-goers to the north of Portugal for more than 20 hours non stop. The event doors open at 5pm on Saturday, July 5th, and close at 2pm the following day.
OGUZ, BLK., SNTS, JAZZY AND ONLY NUMBERS are the first names on the program to be presented for the 18th edition of the charismatic festival. Dutch OGUZ, known for his high energy sets and creative Hard Techno sounds. Coming from Ireland, a name that is redefining the underground electronic scene, BLK. Back in Esmoriz, to the delight of their fans, SNTS will bring the darker side of industrial techno and the force of nature JAZZY will leave ravers excited, thanks to her furious energy and aggressive vibe. From France ONLYNUMBERS is a growing force in the electrifying realm of techno on a global level, and will bring to Portugal the perfect combination of elements of euphoria, percussion and hard techno.
For the 20th anniversary of the iconic Sound Waves Festival, the city of Esmoriz will welcome the raver community from around the world on July 5th, for more than 20 hours non-stop, to the rhythm of Techno and Hard Techno.
