Rasmus Faber reveals his first ambient album, ‘Where Light Touches [A NIMA Story]’

Rasmus Faber

This beautiful album came as quite a surprise from Swedish composer, producer and DJ, Rasmus Faber, who is largely known for his contributions to the dance music and jazz worlds over the years.

Demonstrating his diverse musical prowess once again, this time he’s penned a stunning ambient / neo-classical album, ‘Where Light Touches [A NIMA Story]’.

The album is inspired by and created in collaboration with Los Angeles-based illustrator Ross Tran (RossDraws), and is an auditory interpretation of Ross’ acclaimed book, ‘NIMA’. Providing a 360-degree listening experience, Rasmus Faber has created stunning cinematic soundscapes with delicate melodies, emotive pianos and strings, combined with sophisticated electronica that seamlessly intertwine throughout this simply beautiful body of work. Composed, arranged, and produced entirely by Rasmus using Atmos surround sound, he’s recorded with a full orchestra in Stockholm and incorporated contemporary electronic elements. Honestly, music doesn’t come more elegant or emotive than this!
