His strike rate continues on Beatport with every release so far in 2016 gaining a Deep House Top 10 entry and 2 tracks gracing the overall Top 10 including successful collaborations with Aeroplane and Singer Aloe Blacc, Boris Dlugosch and more. Much in demand as a collaborator Purple Disco Machine has worked on tracks with many others like Singer Aloe Blacc, Hercules & Love Affair, Duke Dumont, Boris Dlugosch and hip hop legend Kool Keith.
Many of these tracks will form part of his debut album ‘Soulmatic’, which will be released this year. Already out is Purple Disco Machines Remix for no one less as Jamiroquai.
On the DJ gig side, he is incredibly busy right across the globe. Playing every year more than 100 shows and his diary in 2017 is already filled up with many famous clubs and highlights in Europe, Asia, North- and South America.
After such successful years, it’s impressive to see that Purple Disco Machine is still raising the bar. With his new debut album ‘Soulmatic’ coming up, we expect him to cross some more borders.
Purple Disco Machine teams up with Joe Killington & Duane Harden
Pretty soon, the leading disco house artist – as we can surely call him -, Purple Disco Machine teams up with Joe Killington & Duane Harden to deliver a great tastemaker called ‘Devil In Me’ – the lead track taken from the Dresden-based artist’s highly anticipated debut LP ‘Soulmatic’. The Australian label, Sweat It Out, will handle the release.
The impressive new single follows on from the recent success of Purple Disco Machine’s ‘Body Funk’. A massive floorfloor filler disco tune.
‘Devil In Me’ boasts all the hallmarks of a future summer anthem, comprising of a tight sun-kissed house groove, a familiar sounding funk-driven guitar sample and a catchy vocal is co-written by Duane Harden (who we know from Armand Van Helden’s 1999 club classic, ‘You Don’t Know Me‘) and sung by Joe Killington.
Enough credits to fill a career?
In addition to the single, the talented German is also celebrating his recent nomination for the prestigious DJ Awards Ibiza within the ‘Best House Act’ category. Ranking #18 in Beatport’s Top 100 of all time with his smash ‘My House’, the accolades keep stacking up. With a colossal remix resume including Jamiroquai, Claptone, Faithless, Shapeshifters, Sigma, and more having reworked ‘Andromeda’ by the Gorillaz, it is time for Purple Disco Machine to return to center stage for the full length debut worth waiting for.
