Published by the Parisian label 96 Musique, NO REQUEST PLEASE is a new series of compilations including only club tracks in their extended versions. Tracks for DJs … by DJs. The name obviously refers to the people asking to play tracks DJs didn’t intend to play.

Classics

In this first edition, 4 tracks were picked up from Serial Records, a major actor of the House and Deep House scene in the early 2000s with artists like Didier Sinclair, Soldiers Of Twilight, D’Julz, DJ F.E.X or Muttonheads. The tracklist includes Didier Sinclair’s « Groove 2 Me » and « Lovely Flight » (in a recent remixed version by Tom Bug) », Soldiers of Twilight’s timeless Hit « Believe » (remixed by Fred Everything) and Ivan Smagghe’s remix of DJ Bertrand’s « Fuckin Filter ». Those are the « Classic » tracks which have vibrated in Clubs for two decades now.

Fresh cuts coming from 96 Musique

The rest of the selection comes from 96 Musique more recent catalogue. To name just a few, Agrume & Lounes’ « Whisky » has become pretty much popular on Spotify with more than a million streams, while KUSMEE’s « Panama » or The Tailors’ « Let’s All Get Down » have been massively played in clubs and on a more underground scene. « The Kids Don’t Know » is a tribute to Golden Age of House Music. « Baby » and « Steppin On My Heart » are some of the label’s favourites tracks we don’t want you to miss!
