Ciao guys where are you from and how is the Dark Disco club scene in your country?

Hello everybody. today we are living between Lille and Paris.

In France, we are lucky to have influential artists and crews like Jennifer Cardini, ivan Smagghe, Vox Low, Pilooski, Lumière Noire, Fantastic Twins, Cosmo Vitelli, La Dame Noir, You Man,… so it’s cool!

When did you start DJing/producing and what or who were your early passions and influences?

We started music and djing in 1997. In 2006 we decided to break till 2018, creation date of Kimshies.

Our first influence is the Belgium electronic music and clubs scene from Antwerp to Brussel via Ghent… In the 90’s there were crazy places with a music scene in constant evolution.

The best & worst experience as a DJ?

The worst was at Tomorrowland in an indoor floor with 30 degrees outside and playing in front of 10 people.

Best was a warm-up for Nicolaas Jaar at Name Festival.

Being able to play for two hours at 110bpm max on a big scene capacity, with a super receptive audience is still a rare luxury today.

With this pandemic situation and clubs lockdowns how are you spending your time home?

We are spending time in making school for kids, cooking and of course music creation.
