To give us a brief idea of what it’s like to produce music when these tools weren’t readily available, in a short interview with audio and visual artist Rob Anderson, he shared how more than two decades ago, when technology was just at its embryonic stage, he mainly used simple MIDI sounds to make synth-based samples.
