A swirling and atmospheric Trencadis
We try to keep with all artists we feature on Tanzgemeinschaft. Sometimes it takes a bit too long in our personal opinion. With Uk based Fractal Architect, master of deep progressive sounds, it’s been way too long. Over little over a year ago he made us a stunning guest mix and shortly after we had a nice chat.
In the meantime, we’ve seen him release a lot of music, mainly remixes. All good. Next week Fractal Architect will release his new EP, called Trencadis, on Dear Deer Records. A sublime EP with four tracks, not to miss. With this release, we see Fractal Architect skillfully strike a balance between musical elements and dance floor oriented elements. Four swirling atmospheric cuts, little uptempo with a great ear for detail. We’ve been playing it over and over the last couple of days. Our favorite on the release surely is Palladio. So deep, out of touch with reality. Top track to be played at 4 or 5 AM, eyes closed, your mindset way beyond the horizon.
What strikes us the most is the use of a sitar on some of the tracks. It fits really well in the compositions and gives it a slightly oriental touch. We’ll stop talking now. Up to you … press play.
