Hello TANZGEMEINSCHAFT, very happy to make this interview for you and share a podcast with a lot of new material.
What were the first types of music you tried to make?
As I good remember it’s was EDM. I was inspired by artists like David Guetta, Deadmau5, Avicii and Nicky Romero.
For fans who don’t know much about you, could you tell us a bit about your music background? How did you fall down the music rabbit hole?
I’m a very demure guy from a small city in the east of Ukraine. I work in the Spa centre, make music, drink coffee, live with my girlfriend in a rented apartment and I think it’s all I need at the moment. From the early years, I was love and listen to different genres of music from Ukrainian pop to American underground Rap.
How would you describe your sound and style?
I can describe my sound in 3 words: existential, cinematic, melodic.
In general, what characterize your music?
I think is strange and ripen synths.
Let’s look back in 2019. What was a highlight for Arude and why?
2019 was very hard and at the same time special for me. I can highlight my debut tour to India with Eventree team and my opening set for Moskoman in Odessa.
We know there will be a release on Mirror Walk – Catharsis. Tell us all about it.
I want to say that “Catharsis EP” is a very special one for me because it includes two tracks with a unique style for me. I very much love the main track “Catharsis”, with Russian words, sounds like a commandment.
And what else have you got planned for the year ahead?
Work on new music for my fans, and keep finding my own style.
If you weren’t making music what would you be doing with your life?
Wow, the very hard question for me. I can’t imagine my life without music.
Thank you.
We post mixes on a regular bases. You can find them on our guest mix page. Have a look.
