Over time we have come across some great music and more podcasts. Many artists and organisations create weekly versions, one better than the other. We save some great sets in our ‘Full sets, great vibe‘ Soundcloud list. Have a look and enjoy some or all of them.
But this post is not about self promotion, even more for the great podcasts we enjoy every time there is an update. Or at least a lot of times as it is hard to keep up with all the music that is being released very day.
Label owner of UNT records, John Norman, a great person if you ask us. Has a weekly show called An Obsession with Sound for which he invites guest to do a one hour long mix. John always pushes for unique and distinctive high-quality sounds with a focus on the dance floor. Always great and one to look forward to week after week. In an interview with us he mentioned that with his own music he likes to take the listener on a journey, with peaks and valleys, that moves and shifts. Well this is also what you’ll get when you listen to his weekly podcasts. Tune in »
We have have a few reviews of his work on our website. Not all of these were released on his own imprint. But Ben sure has a great ear for good techno. In an interview with our magazine he once stated ‘When I listen to music it has to make me wanna dance! I need to feel it!’. Guess this is what you hear on the fantastic podcast hosted by Antura Records label head. Great guest mixes with fantastic recent techno & tech-house tracks being played. If you like your techno being served a little tougher & darker, this is one for you. Tune in »
Another great podcast/radioshow is UMEK’s weekly one-hour long trip through electronic music candy land. He serves up a great selection of freshly released or to be released music out there. All curated by the Slovenian techno veteran himself. Umek is a born techno and tech house producer and DJ that has been setting trends and rocking dance floors around the globe for more two decades and this you can hear for sure in his shows. Tune in »
Fractal Architect’s Depth Perception
Only recently he made us a gorgeous mix for our own TGMS Podcast Series. Not only producing fantastic music, Dan Watts aka Fractal Architect, presents finest ear candy in his monthly radio show called Depth Perception on DNA Radio. We strongly suggest to mark you agenda’s or listen afterwards on Mixcloud. Tune in »
Ken Taur Podcast Sagas
Dan Palmer has it going with his regular podcasts. All great ones. We can’t complain with the regular amount of updates he is pushing out on his Soundcloud profile. It simply doesn’t stop. As there are only 24 hours in one day, a strong recommendation is to pick wise as all of the podcasts/mixes are all good. Tune in »
